MY PHILOSOPHY
IN SEARCH OF WHAT DEEPLY MOVES US I FOUND MEANING IN WHAT BRINGS LIGHT TO ME, AND WHAT I BELIEVE BRINGS TRUE LIFE TO ALL
For me, it is about connecting myself and others to who we really are in our core, and then being courageous enough to be that true you.
Understanding who we are, what moves us, what makes us shine, what our essence is, our beliefs, our strengths…. and then being fearless enough to pursue it, is basically what I believe our life is about. Now, you could say: “That’s really nice Calanit, but isn't that a bit selfish for a life mission? Just “be you” sounds like it is only about you -- is that what you came to do in this world???” Well, the most important piece has been missed-
I think humanity is akin to the human body.
Each organ has a function and everything works towards a healthy ecosystem. If the brain wanted to work as a heart, or a liver as a brain our bodies wouldn't function so great would they? Well, our world is not functioning as great as it could. Only when we all know what our function is and carry out that function rather than be something we are not, the whole world will work in harmony- just like the body. When you do what your true essence demands it is not about you anymore, it becomes about everyone else and the ecosystem of humanity. And what's very special about this is that just by you being you, you open the door for others to be themselves. Not only are you doing your work in the ecosystem, you are also being a channel that allows others to do their unique work. Being you is the biggest way you can help someone else do the same. People feel safe when in the hands of someone authentic. They learn by the soft and sweet example you've laid out: being themselves is a value that isn’t compromised.
Your essence is your superpower.
When you are you, you have self esteem, build healthy relationships with others, have boundaries, have self respect, take care of your body, take care of your needs, work towards purpose, have a clear sense of your career etc etc etc. We care so much about what we think we should be, what others want us to be, what we’d like to be, but we silenced who we really are. And in the process we did a disservice to ourself and the world. How many of us have become an echo instead of a voice? We need your voice. We all need You to be You.
I am, and have been for years on a journey to authenticity. Many times I have failed. But many times I have succeeded. And I have noticed that the times I succeeded I was a magnet for blessings.
I want to invite you to be part of this journey with me.
